These terms and conditions of sale govern the purchase by you of contact lenses from the Eyecontact.co.uk website

1 The purchase by you of contact lenses on the eyecontact.co.uk website constitutes a contract between you and Eyecontact (UK) LTD

2 The submission, by you, of an order form constitutes an offer by you to purchase products for the value specified in the order form at the price set out therein and authorises eyecontact.co.uk to debit your debit or credit card with that amount plus any appropriate taxes and delivery charges.

3 You will be notified by e-mail of the receipt and whether your order has been accepted.

4 Products will be delivered to you at the address you have specified by post.

Payment for products is by way of debit card, credit card or cheque. In the event that your card details have been fraudulently used we will cover your liability up to a maximum of £50 provided that

* The unauthorised use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at Eyecontact.co.uk whilst using our secure server.
* You have immediately notified your bank/ credit card issuer of the unauthorised use and followed their procedure precisely for recovery from this use.

5 We undertake to supply you with the exact type and brand of contact lens prescribed by your optician in the contact lens prescription sent by you to Eyecontact.co.uk. Contact lenses will be will be packaged in the original manufacturer's sealed package.

6 If for any reason you wish to return the lenses we will give you a full refund on any lenses returned unopened and in the original packaging within 10 days. We undertake to replace any defective contact lenses at no cost to yourself. Just return the faulty products to us.

7 It is important to know, contact lens wear can risk the health of your eyes. In the supply of all contact lenses, all eye care practitioners have to meet certain legal obligations in the interest of their patient's ocular health. If you wish to have your contact lenses supplied by Eyecontact.co.uk to a specification issued elsewhere you should know:

* Eyecontact.co.uk can only rely on the details supplied by you and the contact lens specification provided by your optician to supply you with contact lenses
* That you have not been advised to stop wearing contact lenses by an eye care or medical practitioner and have not, within the last 12 months suffered from any eye condition requiring treatment.
* Your contact lens prescription must be less than 12 months old prior to placing your order with Eyecontact.co.uk.

8 Eyecontact.co.uk can accept no responsibility for a customer's lack of suitability to wear contact lenses or even the lenses detailed in the prescription.
9 If Eyecontact.co.uk is not satisfied with your ocular health or considers that the replacement contact lenses requested according to the specification provided to us are not clinically suitable, we will retain the right not to supply them to you and recommend you seek further advice.

10 These terms and conditions shall be governed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.
